University of Southampton

I was commissioned to help the University of Southampton develop their visual brand identity. The Russel Group University, situated on the South coast had been developing their brand strategy and required a complementary visual enhancement.

The new identity was developed from the word ‘remarkable’, carrying out a theme that would reflect the organic nature of developing knowledge. The University, mostly known for its marine, engineering and biology expertise required an identity that felt own-able and personal.

We created an ‘organic orb’ for the University. A visual device that can bring consistency and vibrancy to any medium.
